The Chadstone Clinic is a General Practice/Family Medical Practice
Dr Primo Bentivegna  MBBS, FRACGP
​

Practice Principal since the inception of The Chadstone Clinic in 2001. He graduated from Monash University in 1991, practicing medicine in this local area for over 20 years, with interests in all aspects of medicine from Paediatrics to Geriatrics. He has a great passion for General Practice, and he is very proud of the wonderful team of staff and doctors that work with him at The Chadstone Clinic.

Other interests include dermatology and minor surgical procedures.

Also with Dr Ross he is also a Supervisor of GP Registrars who are in the process of specialising in General Practice.

Consulting Hours as follows:

Monday, Tuesday & Fridays   9.15am to 5.30pm

1 Saturday per month   9.00am to 12.30pm

Dr Adam Braithwaite  MBBS, FRACGP

​

Graduated from Monash University in 2006 and has worked extensively in Emergency Medicine primarily through Monash Health since then. He has also worked in rural hospitals and clinics throughout the NT, NSW and QLD. As a result, Adam is interested in minor procedures and injury management, but enjoys all aspects of General Practice.

In his spare time Adam enjoys brewing the perfect cup of coffee, and can occasionally be found on a golf course.

Consulting Hours are as follows:

Tuesday   9.30am to 5.00pm

Wednesday   2.00pm to 5.00pm

Thursday   8.00am to 4.00pm

1 Saturday per month   9.00am to 12.30pm

Dr Kate McCabe-Simon  MBBS, MPH, BPod, FRACGP

​

Completed her medical training at the University of Notre Dame, Fremantle in 2015. Early in her medical career she worked at Eastern Health having gained experience in Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology and Emergency Medicine.

Prior to Medicine, Dr McCabe-Simon practiced for many years as a podiatrist. She is interested in all aspects of general practice including women’s health, paediatrics and low carbohydrate weight loss management.

While not at work she enjoys spending time with her two preschool aged children and is a novice gardener.

Mondays & Fridays   9.30am to 4.30pm

1 Saturday per month   9.00am to 12.30pm

Dr Leonie Ross  MBBS (Hons.), FRACGP, DHC, PGCert MSM, Cert Sexual Health
​

Graduated from Melbourne University in 2001, and enjoys all aspects of General Practice, with special interests in Women’s Health, Children’s Health and Chronic Disease Management.

She has 3 children including a set of twins, and in her spare time enjoys keeping fit, eating yum cha, learning music, and volunteering with her kid's junior footy club.  Along with Dr Bentivegna, she is involved in mentoring GP Registrars.
Dr Ross is not taking on new patients.

Dr Lina Happo  MD, PhD, BBiomedSc (Hons.), FRACGP

​

Completed her medical training at the University of Melbourne in 2015, and has since worked at a variety of public hospitals including Royal Melbourne Hospital and Monash Health.

She is interested in all aspects of General Practice, in particular Women’s Health.

Lina performs Implanon & Mirena Insertions 

Lina also offers Management of unwanted Pregnancy

In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, brunches in the sunshine, and keeping fit.

Dr Stephen Ciavarella MD, BBiomed

​

​Dr Ciavarella graduated as a Doctor of Medicine from The University of Melbourne in 2020. He gained a broad range of clinical experience in hospital before choosing to specialise in General Practice, and has additionally conducted General Practice medical research. He prides himself on working in an evidence-based and holistic manner, and recognises the importance of continuity of care.

Dr Ciavarella is a prescriber of HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP).

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing tennis, reading, and going for walks with his dog Bella​
